We are looking for Prescription Management Administrators to join our department on a full time, permanent basis. Main Responsibilities
- Support the Pharmacy Prescription Management Operations in the management of prescriptions, patient data entry, pharmacy communications.
- Assist in the supply of medication in a safe, effective, and efficient manner, in accordance with prevailing regulations and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Follow and promote relevant SOPs and Company policy and procedure.
- Scan documents into document management systems or databases.
- Ensure patient data is correctly inputted into document management systems and CRM systems.
- Monitor and respond to correspondence in a professional manner with both patients and clients.
- Maintain documentation filing systems within the department.
- Ensure prescriptions are labelled and dispensed in a timely and accurate manner complying with patient confidentiality and data protection protocols.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the Prescription Management Team and dispensing team to ensure the correct and detailed processing of patient data alongside efficient and safe running of the dispensary.
- Read and comply with all communications from head office and others to ensure necessary actions are undertaken for the pharmacy and customers.
- Carry out any reasonable request given by appropriate persons.
- Contribute to HealthNet's commitment to continuous improvement by forwarding your suggestions to appropriate persons.
- Proactively support the HealthNet Operation by helping in other departments which may be busier than your own at a particular time.
Hours:
Mon - Fri on a 3 week rotating basis:
- 7am - 4pm x 1 week
- 8am - 5pm x 1 week
- 9am - 6pm x 1 week
What experience and skills we are looking for?
- 1 year's experience in a Pharmacy setting - Desirable
- Previous admin experience preferred but not essential
Personal Skills & Qualities
- Confident in providing accurate, technical expert knowledge on the accurate supply of the medicines we dispense.
- Build strong and collaborative relationships with the Pharmacy team, inspiring the team to work to a high standard to ensure we give customers and patients the best care possible.
- Confident in responding to communications from hospitals, patients and internal personnel.
- Confident in the use of Microsoft office applications.
