We are seeking Parkinson's Disease Homecare Nurses to join our Clinical Team. This is a field-based, regional position, with positions available in the North, Midlands and South regions. This is a new and exciting role, as part of HealthNet's business growth, focusing on the care of patients who will receive Produodopa for symptom management.
The successful candidate will be an integral member of our transformational Homecare Medicines Nursing Team. This post requires an experienced Parkinson's Disease Nurse, committed to delivering high-quality, safe nursing services in the home and occasionally in a clinic setting, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and professional standards. The post holder will work within the regional teams, supporting the Clinical Team Managers and nurses with the day-to-day requirements of the Parkinson's Disease & Produodopa Patient Support Program.

Main ResponsibilitiesThe post holder will be responsible for the management of a caseload of patients living with Parkinson's Disease. This caseload will be transient and will involve the support and initiation of patients commencing Produodopa, under the medical care of their specialist NHS consultant and any ongoing requirements as part of the Parkinson's Disease Patient Support Program.
The post holder will be required to work autonomously at times and therefore must be a confident and competent Parkinson's Disease practitioner, able to support patients in the community and to provide dedicated clinic support as required. The post holder will be responsible, without the need for direct supervision, for the teaching of patients/carers to administer their Produodopa therapy.
The post holder will participate in home visits, telephone calls, virtual calls and clinics as necessary and part of the patients support program. The post holder will work across the HealthNet Homecare Regional Nursing Teams, supporting the Clinical Team Managers and the wider nursing workforce, whilst delivering a personalised Produodopa service, improving standards and outcomes of Parkinson's Disease care for patients.
The post holder will support the Clinical Team Manager to ensure all nurses understand and deliver compliance with service level agreements, work orders and contracts. They will support and oversee HealthNet Homecare field nurses in the respective regions when caring for Parkinson's Disease patients.
The post holder will collaborate with a wide variety of professionals both internally and externally, working across multiple organisations such as the NHS, whilst supporting the Pharmaceutical Company to maximise patient outcomes and experiences for those individuals prescribed Produodopa.
The post holder will also be required to help develop, launch and deliver a bespoke Parkinson's Disease training and competency program, to support and equip the Nursing workforce with the knowledge and skills to safely care for patients with Parkinson's Disease and commencing Produodopa, in conjunction with the HealthNet Learning and Development team.
The post holder will support the Clinical Team Managers to ensure staff working on the program achieve training compliance within the Parkinson's Patient Support Program in line with company policies and procedures. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that a high-quality service is delivered consistently, through the successful achievement of patient outcomes and KPIs, whilst also contributing to business growth and the development needs of the Parkinson's Patient Support Program.
The post holder will support and assist the patient and the responsible healthcare professional to deliver a seamless service between hospital and the home, to help drive treatment adherence and compliance and enhance patient outcomes. The post holder will practice in accordance with the expected standards of professional competence and current nursing practices underpinned by latest evidence.
