Archangel are looking for a Care Manager to support the Registered Manager in developing an existing branch based in Winsford. The salary is £35,300.00 for a 45 hours per week contract, which includes 1 week in 4 On Call. We offer excellent benefits and company culture, having achieved an ‘Excellent’ in the PAMMS inspection for 2 consecutive years.
You must have your own car. A £170 bonus will be awarded after completing a 6-month probation period.
We are looking for an experienced Care Manager with a good track record in an identical position who can operate in a fast-paced work environment. Clients will mainly be referred from the local authority and will vary. We provide services for adults with a learning disability, mental illness, physical disability, and Autism. The Care Manager will oversee service delivery that is individualised to each client’s needs and must demonstrate a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for our clients.
Responsibilities:- Report to the Registered Manager and manage rostering duties of allocated runs.
- Create individualised, person-centred support packages that meet identified outcomes with clients, their carers, and the purchasing council.
- Develop and sustain a professional motivated staff team.
- Act as an ambassador for the company, raising our organisation’s profile and reputation for good quality support.
- Meet all regulatory and contractual framework requirements.
- Work to develop branch services for your client group.
- Work closely with the Council in acquiring new support packages.
- Collaborate with our recruitment team and Registered Manager towards a recruitment and retention strategy.
- Ensure all recruitment for your services is carried out in accordance with CQC and Framework requirements.
- Promote equal opportunities in recruitment, placement, and training & development of all staff.
- Manage daily operations within the branch to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Maintain full compliance with CQC regulations and Framework requirements, including quality monitoring checks, file audits, and monitoring staff members’ key performance indicators.
- Identify and meet all training and development needs for your services.
- Handle complaints specific to your services and assist other services in our organisation when dealing with their complaints.
- Be responsible for the first line disciplinary and grievance of staff and members working in your services.
- Ensure effective rostering and placement of care staff in a timely manner while monitoring staff punctuality, call monitoring logs, and continuity of care.
- Oversee the maintenance of up-to-date and accurate records of team members, clients, and placements in line with CQC regulations, Framework requirements, and company requirements.
- Complete your share of on-call duties.
- 2 years experience in a similar role or 5 years experience in the care sector.
- NVQ Level 3 preferred but not essential.
- Driving License.
- Computer literate.
- PeoplePlanner – For all rostering, compliance, and the generation of invoices.
- Care Planner – For templated MAR sheets, Finance Sheets, daily logs, etc.
- Gsuite – For calendar and all other documentation purposes.
