Staying at Home Care Ltd is a small, friendly domiciliary care agency supporting the elderly in their own homes, covering the West Byfleet area. Must be no more than 20 minutes from the area. The rate is starting from £15.00 per hour. The role needs a full-time person who is flexible, this includes working 1 weekend in 4 and possible evenings.
The role will be a mixture of care calls and office duties. Office duties will include:
- Updating care plans
- Rotas
- Spot checks
- Phone support to carers and clients
- Part of an on-call rota
A minimum of 1 year’s experience in a health/care setting is required. Candidates should have an NVQ or be willing to work towards one.

We are looking for kind, caring and compassionate carers to join our team. Must be available to work 1 in 4 weekends per month.

Job Overview:
To provide care in accordance with best practice and legislative requirements, reflecting policies and procedures and agreed standards under the direction of the Manager. To support and enable service users to maintain skills and personal interests while delivering person-centred care unique to each individual.
The Carer’s responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Ensure that service users are at the heart of care delivery and their wishes and preferences are taken into consideration to enhance their wellbeing
- Medication support
- Support with meal preparation and shopping
- Support service users to maintain their relationships and connections with the local community
- Be responsible for informing the Manager of any changes in the needs of service users
- Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals they support
- Work in cooperation with members of the multidisciplinary teams to maximise opportunities for service users
- If desired by the service user, maintain and develop relationships with their family, friends and other people important in their life
- Support with personal care
- Support trips out and hobbies
- Support medical appointments
Other duties and responsibilities may include:
- Seek opportunities for personal and professional growth
- Be a role model for other carers and be an ambassador for the service
- Be professional, polite and reasonable at all times
- Have knowledge of, and work within, the Fundamental Standards
- Understand the regulatory framework that governs the service, including the role of the CQC and its requirements
- Commit to achieving the relevant qualifications commensurate with the role
- Attend statutory training and any other training as directed by management
- Understand and follow all policies and procedures relevant to the role
- Be open to learning opportunities
Experience as a carer is essential within homecare, minimum 1 year. You will need to be able to drive and have access to a car. We are looking for full-time candidates.
