Croft Care is looking for compassionate, reliable, and experienced Community Care Assistants to join our growing team in Wakefield and the surrounding areas including Normanton, Castleford, Pontefract, Featherstone, and Knottingley. If you are passionate about delivering high-quality care and making a real difference in people’s lives, we would love to hear from you.

Pay Rates

  • During Probation: Weekdays: £12.50 per hour, Weekends: £13.00 per hour
  • After Successful Probation: Weekdays: £12.60 per hour, Weekends: £13.20 per hour

Additional Benefits:

  • Travel time paid at £12.21 per hour
  • 45p per mile mileage allowance

Hours Available

  • Part-time and full-time positions available
  • Must be able to work over 20 hours per week
  • Alternate weekend availability is essential

Essential Requirements

  • Must hold a full UK driving licence
  • Must have your own vehicle
  • Previous care experience is essential (including personal experience)
  • Reliable, compassionate, and professional attitude

As a Community Care Assistant, you will support clients in their own homes with:

  • Personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
  • Medication support
  • Meal preparation
  • Companionship
  • Light household duties
  • Promoting independence and dignity at all times

You will play a vital role in helping individuals remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.
