We are looking for volunteers who can provide companionship to an older person in their homes for a few hours per week to improve wellbeing and reduce loneliness and isolation.

As a companion, you will provide face-to-face visits, conversation, company, and a listening ear. The volunteer service involves sitting with an elderly person for a few hours. You can just sit and talk, have a cup of tea, play games, watch a movie, knit, or anything that they would be interested in!

The clients will be based in Chadwell, Tilbury, East Tilbury. Hours will be varied, but we are expecting it to be a few hours a week.
