The Role
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting residents while leading and encouraging the wider care team to deliver outstanding standards of care.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and supporting care staff on shift
- Delivering high-quality, compassionate care
- Assisting residents with daily living activities in a dignified manner
- Administering medication where required
- Maintaining accurate care documentation and care plans
- Promoting resident independence, wellbeing, and choice
- Creating a safe, calm, and positive environment for residents and staff
About You
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (desirable)
- Previous experience within a senior care role in a residential or nursing home setting
- A caring, compassionate, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Medication training desirable but not essential
