Salary bracket is between ÂŁ30k and ÂŁ40k depending on experience. We are looking for an experienced and resilient Registered Manager for a private domiciliary care company in Stockport. The individual must be looking for a handsâon leadership challenge. Managing a growing team of 20 care assistants and a deputy manager. Majority of our customers are selfâfunding and the quality of care has to be high to maintain our customer base and reputation. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about leading by example, and is committed to delivering highâquality, safe and wellâmanaged care.
The Role
- Lead the service delivering domiciliary care and live-in care throughout Stockport and surrounding areas.
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations including recruitment, rotas, scheduling, training, auditing and compliance.
- Provide handsâon leadership including participating in on-call and delivering care where necessary.
- Strengthen processes around care planning, safeguarding, staff development and quality assurance.
- Support a mixed team of both experienced and newly recruited staff, building confidence and consistency.
- Work closely with senior leadership to deliver the service and meet objectives.
About You
- Experience as a Registered Manager within domiciliary care.
- Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification.
- Experienced in training care staff in the care certificate.
- Experience in CQC compliance under the current framework.
- Strong resilience and problemâsolving skills.
- A handsâon, proactive leadership approach, including willingness to support with care and on-call.
- A passion for safe, high-quality care and building positive team culture.
- Experience of using scheduling systems for domiciliary care visits.
- A full UK driving licence and own transport.
- Attitude, commitment and ability to lead by example are key to success in this role.
