Duties
- Provide assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and tidying up
- Assist with transportation to appointments and outings
- Engage in companionship activities such as conversation, games, and hobbies
- Monitor and report any changes in the client's condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a caregiver or in a related field is preferred but not required
- Compassionate and caring nature
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
