As a Community Care Assistant, you will provide care and companionship to vulnerable young adults and elderly clients in their own homes. Being a Care Assistant will allow you to make everlasting relationships with your clients and be a positive force in their lives.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide companionship during breakfast, lunch, tea, and dinner calls.
  • Prompt and ensure clients are taking their medication on time and correctly.
  • Make suggestions on how the client could improve their quality of life. This could be as simple as having a cup of tea in the garden.
  • Provide hands-on personal care when needed. This will include washing, bathing, toileting, and changing clothes.

Areas Covered: Carewise24 have clients across Salisbury and Devizes. Visits vary between 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending upon the individual client's needs.

Pay: Β£13.50 per hour. Mileage paid at 35p per mile.

Shifts: Full-time and part-time positions are available. Shifts are between the hours of 7am to 10pm. Alternate weekend availability is essential.

Requirements:

  • Full UK licence with access to own car.
  • No experience is required as full training is provided.
  • Male and female applicants are welcome.
