Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Room Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in childcare and early childhood education, demonstrating the ability to manage a team effectively while providing a nurturing environment for children. This role requires excellent communication skills in English and the ability to engage with both staff and children. As a Room Leader, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring that all activities are conducted smoothly and in accordance with our standards.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring high-quality care and education for children.
- Planning and coordinating activities.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their children\’s progress.
- Foster a positive environment that encourages children\’s development through play and learning.
- Lead by example, demonstrating strong leadership skills while motivating the team.
Requirements
- Level 3 in Childcare
- Monday – Friday (8am – 5.15pm) – No school hours
- X1 full time or x2 part time staff
- Proven experience in childcare or early childhood education is essential.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable.
- A genuine drive to support children\’s growth and development.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also taking initiative when required.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities within the nursery environment.

Monday 8 – 5.15
Tuesday 8 – 4
Wednesday 8 – 5.15
Thursday 9 – 4
Friday 8 – 4.30
