About the Nursery Environment
Dedicated to providing quality childcare and education since 2003 and conveniently situated on the main Halifax road overlooking the picturesque Shibden Valley, our spacious 19thâcentury schoolhouse has been especially designed and remodelled to create a warm, homely, loving and nurturing environment for your 21stâcentury child. All our children's areas are secure, selfâcontained and have facilities for your child's needs. Our fabulous outdoor play area and garden give the children a chance to explore and become aware of their own environment. Unobtrusive CCTV monitoring of entrances, indoor and outdoor areas is provided to safeguard the children and our staff and help ensure the security of the site. The latest fire and smoke detection equipment is installed throughout the nursery. Three meals a day are provided with snacks in between. All the food is prepared and cooked in our nursery kitchen by our experienced cook. Menus have been designed to provide a healthy, nutritious balanced diet and special dietary requirements are catered for.
Key Facilities
On the lower ground floor we have our kitchen and preâschool room equipped with disabled toilet facilities. The ground floor is home to our toddler room and the first floor houses our baby room and nursery office.
