We are currently recruiting a trainer / recruiter to join our friendly and supportive team.

The role

  • Responsible for recruiting great people, developing talent, and planning and delivering training and annual refreshers across the organisation.

Principal responsibilities

  • Recruit, induct and support new staff, ensuring a positive onboarding experience.
  • Supporting staff to achieve the Care Certificate.
  • Provide a 12-week programme of support for all new staff that includes observations, supervisions and appraisals to promote continuous improvement.
  • Identify training and development needs and design and deliver effective learning opportunities for all staff.
  • Plan, deliver and monitor mandatory, specialist and annual refresher training.
  • Maintain training records, compliance systems and training matrices, ensuring CQC requirements are met.
  • Develop and update training materials, evaluating feedback to continuously improve training delivery.
  • Liaise with internal and external training providers to coordinate learning opportunities.
  • Promote innovative approaches to learning and workforce development.
  • Participate in on-call rota and where required provide care and support directly to customers.
