We are seeking a Support Worker to provide 1:1 support to a 17 year old female, 'S' with autism and learning disabilities. This role is person-centred and relationship-focused, with the individual actively involved in selecting her support worker to ensure a positive and compatible match. Part time position - 10 hours per week to start and will increase with council contracts.

About the Individual:

'S' is looking for a friendly, outgoing, and bubbly support worker who she can build a strong and trusting relationship with.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with her family to help her get up in the morning, washed, dressed, and using the toilet where necessary.
  • Set tables and trays, serve meals and wash up.
  • Document each visit in the daily log, detailing tasks undertaken, any changes which have occurred.
  • Encourage independence, confidence, and personal development.

Essential Requirements:

  • Female applicants only due to client preference.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in healthcare but must be keen to work with children.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
