Job Title: Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Practitioner – Level 4
Location:South West Wales (multi-site role)
Hours:Day shifts (8am–8pm), some evenings/weekends, on-call rotation

About the Role:
We’re looking for a passionate and motivated PBS Practitioner (Level 4 ) to join our specialist residential services. You’ll work closely with a Level 5 PBS Practitioner to support individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs. This is a hands-on role where you’ll help develop and deliver person-centred behaviour support plans, improve quality of life, and reduce restrictive practices.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support assessments and help create PBS plans
  • Provide direct support and crisis intervention
  • Promote positive, person-centred approaches
  • Collect and analyse behavioural data
  • Coach staff on PBS strategies
  • Take part in debriefs and team meetings
  • Keep accurate records and reports
  • Commit to ongoing training and development

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience supporting people with learning disabilities, autism, or mental health needs
  • Understanding of PBS or ABA principles
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to learn and complete PBS training
  • Organised, reflective, and compassionate
  • Flexible and able to work across different services

Desirable:

  • Experience in care, education, or healthcare
  • Working towards a qualification in Health & Social Care, Psychology, or related field
  • Familiarity with behavioural data collection
