Nurse Seekers are proud to be working on behalf of a quality Afterschool and Holiday Club Childcare provider who provide wraparound care.

They are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and a highly motivated Playworker to work in their amazing centre in Bournemouth.

Main duties and responsibilities will include:
• Implementing a varied, stimulating and exciting range of activities that meet the children’s developmental needs.
• Ensuring the facility is ready for use, by setting up and clearing away.
• Working as part of a highly motivated and professional team.
• Establishing positive relationships with children and their families.
• Working in close partnership with all school staff and support the whole school ethos.

The ideal candidate will be able to:
• Adhere to and promote all school policies.
• Safeguard children and promote health and safety.
• Promote good practice in a professional and inclusive manner.
• Maintain a close liaison with class teachers in order to be aware of and respond appropriately to the needs of all children in your care.
• Take responsibility for personal professional development, including participation in own annual appraisal, any necessary training, and keeping abreast of all current issues relating to providing this service.
