Lapwing Apartments is an extra care facility with 54 flats, of which 22 residents require personal care and support services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, implementation and ongoing review of person-centred support plans, ensuring high-quality outcomes and regulatory compliance.
  • Provide effective supervision, leadership, and performance management for staff teams, fostering a positive and accountable working culture.
  • Conduct regular quality assurance audits and spot checks to monitor service delivery, identify improvements, and maintain high standards of care and support.

Please note that service users do not have access to the on-call phone, as they are supported through the Lifeline emergency response system.

Working Hours

This is a 37 guaranteed hours contract and you must be available to work a combination of:

  • Morning: 7:00am - 2:30pm
  • Days: 9am - 5pm
  • Evenings: 4:00pm - 10:00pm (alternate weekends)

You must be happy to take part in the on call rota (1 in 4 weeks) which covers the extra care setting and the domiciliary side of the business.

Pay Rates

  • Weekdays: £18.00 per hour
  • Weekends: £25.00 per hour
  • Paid travel time + 45p mileage allowance (where applicable)

Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence with access to your own car.
  • Minimum 3 years care experience, doesn't need to be in a senior capacity as full training and ongoing support will be provided.
  • Female only due to the specific needs and preferences of our clients (exempt under the Equality Act 2010).
