The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.
We are looking for full and part time experienced care workers to join one of our amazing specialised Palliative Care Teams working across North & East Bristol where you will work alongside another professional carer supporting people who have chosen to die at home.
Unlike many job adverts we see we don’t use any gimmicks when advertising our pay rates, such as showing rates including rolled up holiday pay or rates that you can only achieve working bank holidays or overtime. We won’t surprise you with a lower hourly rate for travel or non contact time, and we won’t reduce your pay if your clients have cancelled visits or if they have gone into hospital. Instead, you will always receive the same pay every month, even if you end up with days where you have no one to visit!
As a palliative carer you will work alongside another carer visiting your allocated clients in their own homes. You will be providing them and their family members with a professional, caring, compassionate and holistic end of life service. Vacancies are open to experienced carer’s with the skills to work in an emotionally demanding role, providing holistic care and support to your clients and their families in the final weeks of life.
Palliative care isn’t for everyone. The right person will have the ability to work in what can be an emotionally charged and demanding environment. You will have a flexible approach to your work as although your shifts will always be the same, you may need to make changes to your run on a daily basis to respond to your clients changing circumstances and needs.
