We are looking for a qualified Early Years Practitioner as well as a Deputy Room Leader to join our team here at The Little Green Frog Nursery and Pre School. We are a small team with an inclusive family culture where everyone has a voice and everyone is heard.
Essential skills:
- The ability to count the fast-moving heads of small people
- A loving personality, able to distribute warm hugs
- Enough imagination to enjoy a playdough cake and pretend cup of tea
Requirements:
- Level 2/3 in Childcare
- MUST have previous experience
- Full time / Part time considered
- 18 - 36 hours per week
- Fixed hours each week
- Days negotiable: 8am - 6pm (or job share 8am-1pm / 1pm-6pm)
We offer:
- Full induction and regular supervision with line manager.
- Subsidised home cooked lunch every day for £2.50

- Flexible arrangements for ad hoc family commitments as needed (hospital visiting, children’s nativity plays etc)
- Online training provider for regular training such as allergy awareness, safeguarding, awareness of specific SEND etc
- First Aid training
- In house training at monthly staff meetings
- 2 training days a year (March and November) usually with outside agencies/speakers and some in house training.
2026 March: Community speech and language team Leeds NHS trust - Using Makaton plus In house training - Safeguarding
2026 November: Anna Ephgrave – In The Moment Planning. (yes, that’s THE ACTUALL Anna Ephgrave coming to the nursery, this will be the second time she has been as well!)
