About the role

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly team at South Hills Old School Nursery in Great Cheverell.

You will play a key role in creating a nurturing, stimulating and safe environment where children feel valued, supported and inspired every day. Working alongside experienced colleagues, you will help deliver high-quality early years education and care while building meaningful relationships with children and their families.

Whether you are a qualified Level 2 or Level 3 practitioner, or currently working towards your qualification, this is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career within a supportive and values-led nursery.

• A Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or currently working towards one).
• A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and high-quality early years practice.

Your responsibilities

• Provide warm, responsive and nurturing care for all children.
• Support learning through play, exploration and curiosity-led experiences.
• Observe, assess and contribute to children’s learning and development.
• Help plan engaging activities that promote progress across the EYFS.
• Build respectful and trusting relationships with families.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a joyful, safe and inspiring nursery environment.
• Uphold the safeguarding and welfare of every child in our care.
