We here at Gee\’s Little Bee\’s are looking for a kind, caring, experienced practitioner to join the team.Requirements ;NVQ Level 3 in Childcare16 – 25 hours per weekPrevious experience of caring for, or working with children aged 0-5.A positive approach to learning and gaining new skills through teamwork and training opportunities.Current knowledge of the Early Years Foundation stage and how children learn Comprehensive knowledge of development and play for children under five.Person SpecificationGood understanding of a play-based approach to children\’s learning and development. Understanding of observation, assessment, planning and record keeping. Good knowledge of child protection policies and procedures. Good knowledge of equal opportunities policies and procedures Good understanding of parents as their child\’s first educators. To meet the children\’s health care needs by changing nappies and caring for personal hygiene needs.Good oral and written communication skills. Ability to observe, assess, plan and record keep in line with EYFS requirements. Ability to foster and enrich children play experience. Ability to reflect and evaluate own practice. Basic IT skills. Good interpersonal skills.Excellent communication skills, with children, colleagues, advisors and parents/carers/carers. Patience.Suitable to work with children.
