OverviewWe are a home away from home day care nursery with great indoor and outdoor facilities for children 1-5 years old. We are looking for an excellent, well trained, enthusiastic and friendly member of staff to deliver high quality childcare and education in partnership with parents. Creating a well-rounded, safe, supportive, stimulating and fun environment for children to play, explore and discover through learning and understanding. We are looking for a kind, caring, practitioner to join the team here at Alpha Bears!
Requirements
Full and relevant Level 2/3 or higher in Childcare Qualification – Essential
Over 1 year\\\’s experience working in Early Years – Essential
Knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements – Essential
Fluent in written and spoken English – Essential
Job Role
To have good communication skills with the parents.
Be able to work in partnership with the staff in the room to create a secure, warm, stimulating and safe environment, appropriate for the needs of individual children.
Be able to plan age appropriate activities.
Are able to identify any gaps in the children\\\’s development.
Excellent knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage to implement these in your daily work, planning and observations.
Maintain the health and safety standards on the room.
Good organisation skills.
