Overview Lancaster Lodge Childcare Ltd is a family run private children\βs day nursery which opened in February 2013. There are a total of three rooms for the children: Seedlings Room (0-2yr olds), Sunflower Room (2-3yr olds) and Garden Room (3-4yr olds).The learning environment within each room and outdoor space is set out to meet all aspects of children\βs interest, learning and development and includes a wide range of continuous provision. Alongside the continuous provision we provide a wide selection of activities for children to engage in, these could be craft, role play, messy play, cooking/baking, focused small group activities, singing/rhymes, physical challenges including risk taking, fine motor/hand eye co-ordination activities as well as exploratory/discovery sessions. The environment and the provisions we provide are adapted as appropriate to meet the needs of the cohort of children within each room.Requirements Level 3 in ChildcareFull time (All year round)45 hours per week (between 7.30am β 6.30pm) Monday β Friday.0-2yr old room / 2-3yr old roomNotes The opening times are 7.30am to 6.30pm, Monday to Friday all year round, excluding Christmas Eve, a week closure between Christmas and New Year and a week maintenance closure at the beginning of the Summer Holidays. The Summer Maintenance closure is decided on in line with Cambridgeshire County Councils Term Dates.
