ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a casual, part‑time role offering flexible working. As a Bank Registered Nurse (RMN) at a Barchester care home, you will use your compassion and experience to help deliver the exceptional levels of care and support we are known for. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will provide care and support to residents with complex and sometimes challenging behaviours. Your duty is to improve residents’ quality of life by ensuring their needs are met and by treating each person with dignity and respect. This includes listening to the residents, providing and supervising the delivery of excellent nursing care and exercising the autonomy necessary to make a real difference. The role offers ample training and career development opportunities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide care and support to residents with complex and challenging behaviours.
  • Improve residents’ quality of life by meeting their needs and treating them with dignity.
  • Listen to residents and supervise the delivery of excellent nursing care.

  • Adhere to regulatory frameworks, including DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Current NMC registration.
  • Good knowledge of up‑to‑date clinical practices, especially regarding dementia.
  • Experience producing well‑developed care plans and detailed risk assessments.
  • Understanding of regulatory frameworks, including DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines.
  • Dedicated, compassionate, person‑centred, thoughtful approach to nursing.
