Zero2Five are proud to be working with a private Montessori Day Nursery based in Maldon, Essex who are looking to employ an experienced Montessori Nursery Manager. This is a vital leadership position supporting the effective day-to-day running of the nursery and a great opportunity to progress within your career to a more senior position with the excellent training provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Safeguard and promote the health, safety and welfare of children.
- Ensure systems are in place for accurate reporting and monitoring.
- Manage the overall operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with EYFS, DFE and Ofsted.
- Ensure classroom displays are purposeful and well-maintained, and that regular health and safety checks are carried out.
- Build strong relationships with all parents of the setting.
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and collaborative working environment.
- Adhere to occupancy and financial budgets and targets.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and cleanliness.
Essential Criteria
- Over 2 years of management experience.
- Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
- Excellent ICT and communication skills.
- Paediatric First Aid certification and a commitment to maintain it.
- A current and clean DBS certificate.
- A thorough understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Ofsted requirements, and safeguarding policies.
