Greenwood is a group of pioneering day nurseries in London, dedicated to providing exceptional childcare services for children aged 12 months to 5 years old. With our own Greenwood Philosophy and unique project-based curriculum focused on Planet Earth, we are not just a daycare, but a place where children can grow, learn, and thrive. We offer five meals a day, cooked by our school chef with organic and free-range products, and celebrate seasonal produce. We also provide a supportive, collaborative, and fun work environment for our team of dedicated educators.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 in Childcare (MUST)
  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday - Friday
  • Full time
  • £30,000-£31,000 per annum
  • 40 hours per week

Successful applicants will:

  • Be someone who is genuinely passionate about education and changing children's lives.
  • Have a relevant early years qualification (level 3 or above).
  • Have previous experience working with children of all ages.
  • Have a positive outlook.

As a practitioner you will:

  • Promote positive relationships with parents, children, and colleagues.
  • Innovate with activities, and constantly challenge your children's learning and development.
  • Be willing to move to different age groups as required.
  • Work effectively and cooperatively alongside our tight-knit team and ensure the health, safety, and well-being of the children at all times.
  • Support the team in building relationships with a small group of children and their families according to the EYFS and our own Greenwood Philosophy.
  • Take on Room Leader role in their absence.
  • Work on a shift pattern Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week with a 1-hour lunch break per day.
