Combined Touch CIC is a Community Interest Company who are a small, home care provider and who are proud of our growing reputation for providing good quality support to people with dementia. Our ethos is to support people to live their lives as independent people in their own right. We work in and around South Shields, Hebburn and Jarrow.

We believe in a holistic approach to care and are looking for someone who can join us as a Senior Care Worker/Care Lead and who can support our organisational objectives and the care team to provide outstanding care in the community.

Someone who either has, or is willing to work towards a Level 5 Qualification in Leadership and Management for Adult Social Care but who already has at least a Level 3 Qualification. The person who we would like to join us must exhibit strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills and who naturally fosters a positive and supportive team culture, putting others at ease and promoting collaboration.

Education and must have:

  • Experience in a home care setting is essential.
  • Support the Manager with implementation of all policies, procedures and business objectives and support with staff training and development.
  • Conduct supervisions and induction of new staff.
  • Take part in the on call rota, providing out of hours support when needed.
  • Proficient IT skills for maintaining client records and documentation using computer and a telephone app.
  • Strong communication of English, both written and verbal, to facilitate effective communication.
  • Ability to both prepare and implement care plans accurately, assist with audits and liaise with healthcare professionals acting in line with CQC guidelines.
  • A caring attitude with a passion for helping others.
  • Valid driving license and own transport.
