ABOUT US: Little Foxes’ aim is to create a premium childcare community, blending quality education with outdoor adventures. We help parents and carers give their children a place where they can spend 80% of their time exploring the outdoors, following a bespoke curriculum focused on mindfulness, wellbeing, and curiosity. We believe childhood should be calm, connected, and full of wonder — giving children the tools to regulate emotions, build confidence, and develop a lifelong love of learning. We’ve supported thousands of families by providing premium childcare across 7 nurseries and 3 out-of-school clubs over the last 30 years! Right now, we’re growing our team and looking for an incredible Pre‑School Teacher to join our woodland wonderland and help shape young minds during their most important years.

WHAT YOUR TYPICAL DAY WILL LOOK LIKE:

  • 7:30am: Arrive at your woodland wonderland and get set up for the day
  • 7:45am: Welcome early arrivals with big smiles and settle children into their morning
  • 8:30am: Grab a quick cuppa and connect with the team as more children arrive
  • 9:00am: Kick off the day with engaging activities and outdoor exploration
  • 10:00am: Phonics time– bringing sounds to life through fun, interactive sessions
  • 10:30am: Snack time
  • 11:00am: Continue learning through play — crafts, nature walks, storytelling
  • 11:45am: Mindfulness moment– calming activities, breathing, and reflection time
  • 12:00pm: Lunch time (chef‑prepared and delicious!)
  • 12:30pm: Quiet time / rest / calming activities
  • 1:30pm: Afternoon adventures — more outdoor fun, creativity and learning
  • 2:30pm: Mindfulness & wellbeing check‑in– gentle reset, stories, or relaxation
  • 3:00pm: Support children during pick‑ups and chat with parents about their day
  • 4:00pm: Wind down activities and support late afternoon play
  • 5:00pm: End‑of‑day routines, tidy up, and ensure all children are settled for collection
  • 6:00pm: Head home knowing you’ve made a real difference
