We are looking for an experienced Dental Practice Manager to join a friendly and busy private practice in Leicester on a 9-month fixed-term contract starting February 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a patient-focused practice offering a range of private services including cosmetic treatments, composite bonding, aligner therapy, and implant procedures. You’ll play an essential role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while supporting both clinical and administrative teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the smooth and efficient running of the dental practice
- Manage diaries, rotas, and daily operations
- Act as key holder (opening/closing responsibilities)
- Ensure compliance with CQC, GDC, HTM 01-05 and NHS standards
- Handle patient enquiries and complaints professionally
- Lead HR duties: recruitment, inductions, training, and appraisals
- Monitor budgets, invoicing, and financial targets
- Maintain excellent patient experience and service levels
- Support clinicians to ensure a smooth workflow
- Oversee maintenance, repairs, and servicing of all dental equipment
About You
- Experience in dental or healthcare practice management (essential)
- Friendly, approachable, and patient-centred
- Strong IT skills; SOE software knowledge preferred
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Highly organised with strong problem-solving ability
- Motivated, adaptable, and committed to delivering high-quality care
- Good understanding of dental compliance and NHS systems
