What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and support care assistants, offering guidance, supervision and mentoring to maintain excellent standards of care.
  • Conduct care reviews, risk assessments, and spot checks to ensure care plans remain accurate and up to date.
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding procedures, health and safety regulations, and Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and electronic care records, ensuring confidentiality and data protection requirements are met.

Areas Covered: Percurra only have clients in the North of Leeds: Roundhay, Moortown, Chapel Allerton, Alwoodley, Shadwell, Oakwood, Headingley, Whinmoor, Scarcroft, Guiseley, Ilkley, Otley, Garforth & Bramhope. We are also looking for carers in LS22 - Wetherby.

Requirements:

  • Full UK licence with access to own car.
  • Female and male applicants are welcome.
  • 5 years experience in any care setting.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
  • Candidates must live within a 10 mile radius of our office - LS17 7BA.

Pay: Around £15 per hour (To be discussed at interview) + 30p mileage + Travel time. Guaranteed hours contracts are available upon completion of probation period.

Shifts: Full-time / part-time position. Availability for mornings and evenings (7:30am starts & 9:30pm finishes). Minimum of 1 shift every other weekend is essential.

Qualifications: We do not provide a visa for this role. You must have the right to work in the UK and be able to provide the necessary Home Office documentation.
