Whether a customer wants a helping hand or requires round-the-clock specialist nursing care, Evedale Homecare can offer affordable solutions.
We are currently recruiting for domiciliary care workers for immediate starts to work in private clients' homes in Warwickshire and the West Midlands, including Kenilworth, Solihull, Warwick, Stratford-upon-Avon, Coventry and surrounding areas.
Duties:- Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide meal preparation and ensure dietary needs are met.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
- Administer first aid and monitor health conditions as needed, reporting any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Help with mobility and transportation, including driving clients to appointments or social activities when required.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Document care provided and communicate effectively with team members and family members regarding client progress.
- Previous experience in nursing homes, home care, or assisted living settings is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with patient care practices, first aid techniques, and meal preparation is advantageous.
- Experience in childcare may also be beneficial for those working with younger clients or families.
- A caring attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently are essential traits for success in this role.
