We are looking for a caring, reliable and enthusiastic support worker to provide 1:1 support to a friendly and independent 19-year-old visually impaired woman based in Ilkley. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference, supporting a young person to live independently, access her community, and enjoy day-to-day activities with confidence.

Shifts:

  • Tuesday and Friday (Days)
  • May include the occasional weekend work

Brighter Days Support is more than happy to discuss other packages in the area if you’re unable to cover the shift pattern.

About the role:

You will provide personalised support tailored to her needs, which may include:

  • Assistance with daily living tasks
  • Support to attend appointments, activities and social outings
  • Encouragement with independence and confidence building
  • Sighted guidance and mobility support
  • Companionship and emotional support

Requirements:

  • Full UK licence with access to own car
