Hourly Pay: Days - £28.37

Location: High Wycombe

Shift: Thursdays and Fridays 08.00 - 16.00

Enviva, part of the Sonderwell Group, are looking for a Paediatric Nurse in the High Wycombe area. We provide the highest quality complex care at home to clients by employing the best possible staff to provide that care. We have a robust and in-depth onboarding process where, as a new employee, you'll first complete your training and paid induction. As part of your induction, you will shadow another member of your team. This helps you understand your new role and get to know people in your team. Your colleagues and management team will work with you during your induction to help you put your training into practice and answer any questions you may have.

You will be spending your time with our client within their own home where you will be supporting with their daily routine. Your day-to-day activities may include:

  • Enteral Feeding
  • Medication Administration
  • Non Invasive Ventilation
  • Oral Suctioning
  • Nasopharyngeal Suctioning

Being a Sonderwell carer isn’t just about caring. It’s about being good with people, too – being able to gain the trust of clients and their families. That’s why, if you have a caring personality and some relevant experience, we’ll give you access to online and classroom training in specific complex care needs, as well as the chance to study for a relevant NVQ.

Depending on the client, you may be working on your own or part of a team. If you wish and have the availability, you could provide support to more than one client. Before you start, you’ll have the chance to meet your client and their family. And when you do, you’ll have day-to-day support with a Care Co-ordinator or Nurse Manager always on hand to answer your questions. You’ll also be able to access our 'Carer App' which is a fantastic source of insight and information.
