We are looking for enthusiastic and caring Bank Nursery Practitioners to join our friendly and supportive nursery team. This flexible role is ideal for passionate childcare professionals who enjoy working with children and want the freedom to choose shifts that fit around their lifestyle.
As a Bank Nursery Practitioner, you will support the daily running of the nursery, helping to create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where children can learn, play, and thrive. At Dragonflies at Ditcham, successful candidates will work within a team of inspiring and dedicated early years professionals. Working alongside Room Leaders, Early Years Educators will:
- Fulfil duties that meet children’s individual needs and support the nursery’s aims and curriculum.
- Deliver high-quality learning experiences and provide the foundation children need to reach their full potential.
- Follow the standards and requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), ensuring children learn and develop well in a safe, nurturing environment.
- Adhere to safeguarding policies and role-model best practice at all times.
- Provide warm, professional, and high-quality customer service to families and visitors.
To be successful at shortlisting, applicants must demonstrate:
- A full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification and/or equivalent nursery experience.
- Good working knowledge of the EYFS.
- Good working knowledge of safeguarding requirements.
- Experience of working in a busy team environment.
- Experience of delivering high-quality customer service.
