Creative Minds Nurseries are excited to present an opportunity to join our exceptional, brand new, purpose-built Montessori Nursery based in the heart of Gerrards Cross. We are looking for motivated and passionate Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioners to become part of our state-of-the-art, flagship site.
Requirements:
- Level 3 in Childcare
- Full time (4-5 days)
- MUST be able to work 8 hours a day (Between hours of 8am - 6pm)
- 40 hours per week contracted position
- Strong understanding of EYFS framework
- Montessori experience (is a bonus)
Purpose of the role:
To provide high-quality care and education for all children, following the EYFS, nursery policies, safeguarding procedures and Ofsted requirements. Nursery Practitioners create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment that supports each child’s learning and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working With Children: Provide high-quality, child-centred care and learning through strong key-person practice, effective planning and consistent support for children’s development.
- Teamwork & Professional Conduct: Contribute positively to the team, model good practice and always maintain professional communication & behaviour.
- Parents & Community: Build strong, respectful relationships with parents & guardians and share regular updates while supporting nursery events and community engagement.
- Learning, Assessment & Environment: Carry out accurate assessments and maintain safe, engaging environments and routines that promote children’s learning and wellbeing.
- Health, Safety & Record Keeping: Maintain a safe environment and accurate records by following all health, safety and hygiene procedures consistently.
- Safeguarding & Compliance: Ensure full compliance with nursery policies, legal requirements and safeguarding procedures, reporting any concerns immediately.
- Additional Duties: Participate fully in nursery events and ongoing professional development, completing additional tasks as required.
