Are you looking for a role in which you can change people’s lives? Are you passionate, caring and open minded? Action4Care are seeking enthusiastic and proactive individuals to join our amazing team of support worker staff. This role will require you to work as part of a team to support neurodivergent adults within shared residential home settings. This includes but is not limited to individuals with autism, learning disabilities, Down syndrome, mental health issues, challenging behaviour, and epilepsy.

Our aim is to provide person-centred care to support and encourage those we support to live as independently as possible whilst providing individualised support to suit their wants and needs. Your role will be to support individuals to carry out day-to-day activities both within their home and out in the community. You will also assist with personal care, administering medication, cooking, assisted feeding, cleaning, shopping, and general day-to-day tasks.

You must be willing to work a range of shifts on a 24-hour, 365-day basis (this includes bank holidays and weekends). Shifts are allocated alongside the needs of each service and your line managers will work closely with you for any commitments around your working schedule. Experience is preferred but not necessary as full training is provided.

Job type: Full time, permanent.

Pay: £12.86 per hour - £13.36 per hour overtime rate outside of contracted hours.

Shift: 14 hours, 12 hours, 10 hours, 8 hours. (Shifts) Full time waking night support worker – 40 hours 8pm to 8.15am. Workdays: Monday to Sunday.

For this role, we require an enhanced DBS check.
