At Avante Care & Support, we help older people stay independent in the place they feel most comfortable – their own home. As a Home Care Worker, you’ll be part of a friendly team supporting people with the little things that make a big difference to their day.

No two visits are the same. One moment you might be helping someone get ready for the day, preparing a meal, or supporting with medication or personal care. The next you might simply be sharing a cup of tea and a chat. It’s a role where kindness, patience and a personal touch really matter.

You don’t need previous care experience to apply. Many of our team started with none at all. If you’re reliable, caring and enjoy helping others, we’ll provide all the training and support you need to get started.

What we offer:

  • Competitive rates of pay from £13.30 - £15.00
  • Paid training and opportunities to gain care qualifications
  • 35p per mile mileage reimbursement
  • £8.50 per hour paid travel time between visits
  • Flexible contracts (zero hours or contracted hours, subject to availability)
  • Free DBS check
  • Mobile phone and uniform provided
  • Access to online GP, physiotherapy and counselling services
  • 28 days paid holiday (pro rata, including bank holidays)

Shift times: Evening: 4 pm – 9:30 pm. Alternate weekends required.

Please note: A driving licence and access to a vehicle are required for community visits. You must have the right to work in the UK (we are unable to offer sponsorship).

If you’re looking for a role where you can brighten someone’s day and be part of a supportive team, we’d love to hear from you.
