The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

We are looking for a EYSE to oversee the holistic learning and development of all children in Daffodils and to work in partnership with the Manager in the development of the EYFS curriculum for this age range.

Requirements

  • Level 6+ / QTS
  • 40 hours per week (8.00am - 5.00pm / 9.00am - 6.00pm)
  • Monday - Friday
  • MUST have previous senior experience i.e deputy etc
  • Well spoken & Good communication Skills
  • Up to 37 days leave per year
  • Private medical care from April 2026
  • Sponsored CPD up to and including Masters

Duties and Responsibilities

  • To provide learning experiences and routines which meet the requirements as detailed in the Early Years Foundation Stage framework;
  • To have knowledge of this Framework, including the Statutory Framework for the EYFS and to work within this framework at all times;
  • To have knowledge of and work in accordance with the Policies and Procedures of Angels on The Park;
  • To work in accordance with the Employee Code of Conduct;
  • To work efficiently in the capacity of key person and key worker, as defined by Angels on The Park;
  • To plan learning experiences and routines for key children from their individual interests and to promote their holistic development;
  • To observe and record key children’s progress using a variety of recordable methods, and to ensure that planning reflects these observations;
  • To monitor and assess each child’s progress and to work in partnership with the base room Coordinator to ensure positive development towards the Early Learning Goals for each child;
  • To lead on planning for all children in Daffodils for all areas of learning in the EYFS curriculum with particular emphasis on early literacy, including phonological awareness and early mathematics.
