Vacancy – Nursery Practitioner – Northwood

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children in our nursery setting.

Experience

Purpose of Role

To support the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring the highest standards of care, safety, and learning for all children. To deputise for the Nursery Manager as required and help lead a motivated, high-performing team. This role is for someone seeking long-term, all-year-round work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Management: Assist the Nursery Manager in managing staff and nursery operations.
  • Deputise for the Nursery Manager in their absence, making operational decisions as required.

Requirements

  • Level 3 or Montessori qualification with relevant experience.
  • Strong communication skills with staff, children, and parents.
  • Proven ability to work in a nursery environment and support a team.
  • Desire for long-term, all-year-round work.
