We are very fortunate to be situated at Yolk farm which is surrounded by beautiful countryside, allowing us to utilise the outdoors to our hearts content. Since opening our doors in March 2004, we have continually worked to build Tiddlywinks into the thriving Outstanding company it is today. We have two Nursery sites in York and Easingwold as well as a brand new 90-place setting in Boroughbridge. All of our Nurseries have a strong ethos based on quality, compassion and enthusiasm. We have a strong forest school ethos alongside other pedagogies, and our staff are passionate and empathic. Having been providing outstanding childcare for over 20 years, we have looked after hundreds of local families and their children.

Requirements:

  • An Early year's qualification to at least Level 2 in Childcare or equivalent, with preference for degree qualified practitioners.
  • Strong leadership and the ability to motivate a team are essential.
  • Highly organised with excellent time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary for interacting with staff, parents, and external agencies.
  • The ability to think critically and creatively to solve problems.
  • A strong understanding of child development, relevant legislation and safeguarding procedures is crucial.
  • An excellent understanding of the EYFS and how it is delivered.
