About Us: We are a small provider consisting of 4 person‑centred support services across Doncaster, dedicated to assisting adults with learning disabilities to lead fulfilling lives. Our mission is to empower individuals to achieve their goals, build meaningful relationships and engage with their communities.
Position Details:
- Contract Type: Full time only – predominantly during the day but night positions are available too. You will be expected to remain flexible to cover 10 to 12 hour shifts.
- Hourly Rate: £12.71 per hour during training, increasing to £13.17 per hour.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in supporting individuals with learning disabilities is desirable but not essential.
- Male and females are welcome to apply.
- Driving isn't a requirement.

Role and Responsibilities:
As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing essential support, guidance, and assistance to adults with learning disabilities. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Building strong and trusting relationships with the tenants we support based on respect and empathy.
- Assisting each person in daily activities, meal preparation and household tasks.
- Supporting tenants in developing life skills, pursuing hobbies and engaging in social and recreational activities.
- Implementing individualised support plans that cater to the unique needs and preferences of each person.
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of the people we support at all times.
- Collaborating with families, healthcare professionals and other team members to provide holistic care.
- Documenting progress, observations and any incidents according to established protocols.
- Promoting and maintaining a positive and inclusive environment.
No personal care is required.
