As a Community Care Assistant, you'll build meaningful, lasting relationships with your clients while supporting them to live independently, safely, and with dignity. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide companionship and support during breakfast, lunch, tea, and dinner visits.
  • Prompt and assist clients with taking their medication safely and on time.
  • Deliver personal care where required, including washing, bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Support clients with their daily routines while promoting independence.
  • Encourage activities that improve wellbeing and quality of life, from enjoying time in the garden to pursuing hobbies and social interaction.
  • Build trusting, respectful relationships with clients and provide emotional support.

Working Hours

  • Minimum commitment of 25 hours per week.
  • Rotas are issued 1 week in advance and may occasionally be amended to meet client needs.
  • Applicants must be available to work flexible shifts between 7:00am and 10:00pm, including alternate weekends.

Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle.
  • Previous care experience is desirable but not essential, as full training can be provided.
