We are looking for a caring, positive, and dedicated Deputy Team Leader to join our small, experienced team supporting 4 ladies with learning disabilities and autism in one of our supported living services. Female only due to client preference.
As a Deputy Team Leader, you will work closely with the Team Leader to help manage the service and ensure the highest standard of care and support is delivered. This is a hands‐on role that is both challenging and deeply rewarding.
You will play an active part in day‐to‐day support, as well as assist with leadership responsibilities such as:
- Updating and maintaining documentation, including support plans
- Coordinating social activities, healthcare appointments, and other aspects of the ladies' daily lives
- Supporting and motivating the staff team to provide person‐centred care
This role involves providing personal care as part of your daily duties when on shift. This includes supporting with personal hygiene, dressing, and other aspects of personal and physical care.

Pay:
- Salary Level 1 = £13.43 per hour
- Salary Level 2 = £13.84 per hour (Proven Deputy Experience)
- Enhancements for unsocial hours (between 8pm and 11pm on weekdays and from 6am to 11pm on weekends):
- Salary Level 1 = £13.74 per hour
- Salary Level 2 = £14.19 per hour (Proven Deputy Experience)
- Sleep in shifts are paid at £71.00
Shifts:
- Full time, 37.5 hours per week
- The hours typically vary between 7am to 9pm though on some occasions, it may be later if we're out enjoying social activities or events with clients.
- Sleep in shifts - 10pm to 7am - 2 to 3 times per fortnight is essential
- On call weekend, approximately 2 times per year from 5pm Friday to 8:30am Monday is essential
Additional Information:
Experience supporting people with learning disabilities, autism, or epilepsy is desirable but not essential — full training will be provided in-house.
