They are seeking to employ a Deputy Room Lead Nursery Nurse for their excellent settings based in the Bournemouth area. This role offers a unique work/life balance with split shifts.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in childcare (Level 3 or equivalent).
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • A passion for early childhood education and development.
  • Excellent communication skills to build relationships with parents, staff, and the community.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and health & safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead activities as directed.
  • Organize and run engaging activities for children.
  • Support colleagues in their responsibilities.
  • Keywork effectively, maintaining positive relationships with families, keeping accurate records, planning personalized play, and evaluating activities.
  • Ensure the happiness and well-being of children.
  • Maintain vigilance on safeguarding and child protection, following procedures to promote safety.
  • Assist with school pick-ups as needed.
  • Promote children’s health and safety, reporting concerns appropriately.
  • Adhere to Club policies and the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
