About the Role
Nurse Seekers are proud to be working on behalf of a highly reputable, family-run nursing home in Brighton. This home offers personalised residential, nursing and specialist dementia care within a warm and supportive environment.
We are currently seeking an experienced Deputy Home Manager to join their dedicated team. The successful candidate will support the Home Manager in leading the staff team and maintaining the highest standards of clinical and operational care.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and oversee day-to-day care delivery
- Mentor and develop nursing and care teams to deliver outstanding resident outcomes
- Ensure full compliance with CQC standards, safeguarding, Health & Safety, DoLS and MCA frameworks
- Manage medication processes, audits, care planning and clinical governance
- Liaise effectively with residents, families, staff and external stakeholders
- Support with admissions, assessments and occupancy planning
- Deputise for the Home Manager during periods of absence
About You
- Previous experience as a Deputy Manager in a care home setting
- Sound knowledge of CQC regulations and clinical governance
- NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or working towards)
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
- Passion for person-centred care and continuous improvement
