We’re searching for a dedicated and ambitious Deputy Care Manager to join our growing team at Bluebird Care Rother & Hastings, in our Rye office. What You’ll Need:
- Hands on experience in a leadership role within the care sector
- Full UK Driving licence and your own vehicle
- To be currently living locally to Rye
What You’ll Receive:
- Up to £35,000 per annum, based on experience

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supporting the business in a variety of areas to contribute to its ongoing growth and success, including involvement in recruitment, participation in the on-call rota, and assisting across different departments and tasks as needed
- Conducting regular field supervisions of care assistants
- Mentoring new care assistants in the field and assisting in the monitoring of quality control
- Completing care plans in accordance with company policies and care standards
- Carrying out customer assessments prior to commencement of care services as required in the absence of the Care Manager
- Taking part in the emergency on-call schedule on a rotational basis
- Working closely with care coordinators, the care manager, field care supervisors, customers, care assistants and external third-party stakeholders
