We’re searching for a dedicated and ambitious Deputy Care Manager to join our growing team at Bluebird Care Rother & Hastings, in our Rye office. As a well-established home care provider with a reputation for delivering outstanding care, this is the perfect opportunity to develop your career while making a real difference in the community.

What You’ll Need:

  • Hands on experience in a leadership role within the care sector
  • Full UK Driving licence and your own vehicle
  • To be currently living locally to Rye

What You’ll Receive:

  • Up to £35,000 per annum, based on experience
  • Additional pay for any on call work

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Supporting the business in a variety of areas to contribute to its ongoing growth and success, including involvement in recruitment, participation in the on-call rota, and assisting across different departments and tasks as needed
  • Conducting regular field supervisions of care assistants
  • Mentoring new care assistants in the field and assisting in the monitoring of quality control
  • Completing care plans in accordance with company policies and care standards
  • Carrying out customer assessments prior to commencement of care services as required in the absence of the Care Manager
  • Taking part in the emergency on-call schedule on a rotational basis
  • Working closely with care coordinators, the care manager, field care supervisors, customers, care assistants and external third-party stakeholders
