We are currently recruiting for a Care Coordinator to work from our office in Colwyn Bay. Duties to include:
- Answering incoming telephone calls
- Accepting, allocating and processing referrals for new work efficiently
- Accepting and processing changes and amendments to existing care packages
- Assigning care workers to clients, whilst working within the standards and requirements of the company
- Ensuring all runs and working patterns meet the needs of the company, clients and care workers
- Ensuring mileage and distance travelled is monitored
- Ensuring adequate cover is available for sickness, absenteeism or holidays
- Work with colleagues to pre-empt recruitment needs
- To ensure work is allocated fairly and appropriately
- Working with other members of the team to ensure high quality service provision
- Liaising with clients and care workers to ensure an efficient service provision
- Keeping accurate records on the system and working with the office team to ensure all data is up to date and relevant
- Preparation of reports as required by the company
- Ensuring care worker rotas are completed
- Participate with the On call rota with the management team
- Providing personal care to clients during periods of staff absence
The candidate should have excellent communication skills, professional telephone manner and excellent IT skills. Hours are mainly between 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday. Flexibility is needed outside of these times to meet business needs and could involve early morning, evening or weekend work. Applicants will hold a minimum level 2 qualification in care and be committed to working towards a level 3 qualification. A driving licence and car are essential for this role, as is the ability to work as part of a team and independently.
