Early Steps Daycare is a newly established, nurturing nursery setting dedicated to providing exceptional care and education to children aged 2–5 years. We pride ourselves on creating a child‑centred, engaging, and creative environment where children can thrive, grow, and prepare for a successful transition into primary education. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Level 3 Qualified Room Leader to join our passionate team.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Childcare
- Minimum: 1 year leadership experience
- Full time (40 hours per week), 5 days per week, 8am - 5pm or 9am - 6pm
- Permanent
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working within Childcare
- Good understanding of the EYFS framework
- September Start Date
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will:
- Plan, deliver and evaluate age‑appropriate and stimulating activities for children aged 9 months to 5 years.
- Observe, record, and assess children's development and learning progress.
- Build strong and positive relationships with parents/carers and maintain open communication.
- Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and hygiene of all children in your care.
- Uphold safeguarding, child protection and health & safety procedures at all times.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to the wider nursery team.
