It is an opportunity to build meaningful relationships, provide essential support and make a genuine difference.

Where you will work: The office is based in the heart of Cheltenham, offering a friendly, welcoming and relaxed working environment. We have four much-loved office cats who are very much part of the team and the office atmosphere. As a result, you'll need to be comfortable around cats and have no allergies.

What you'll be doing: As a Self-employed Community Care Administrator, you'll be responsible for providing day-to-day administrative support to our care team. You’ll help recruit live-in care assistants, answer incoming office lines, maintain accurate records, data entry, and ensure that the office runs efficiently. You will be the heart of the team and will play a flexible role between an Administrator and a Community Care Assistant, whereby you will provide care and support to clients in their own homes, helping them maintain their independence and continue living comfortably in their local community. You will provide companionship, practical support and personal care where required, while ensuring every client receives care that is respectful, compassionate and tailored to their individual needs. Our community care packages provide the opportunity to build strong relationships with the people you support while making a genuine difference to their everyday lives.

Working Hours and Pay Rates: The core working hours as a Community Care Administrator is Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm. Additionally, you would be required to be flexible to cover care calls between 8:30am to 9:30pm, including weekends. As you are self-employed, you can earn £13 per hour to £17 per hour, task-dependent.

We are looking for people who are:

  • Caring, compassionate and dependable
  • Reliable and committed to providing high-quality care
  • Comfortable providing care and support in clients' homes
  • Willing to learn and support clients with their individual needs
  • Able to work independently while being part of a supportive care team

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence with access to your own car
  • Female applicants only due to client preference
  • Strong proficiency in using Mac computers and navigating macOS efficiently
  • Happy to work as Self-employed

Training: You don't have to know everything from day one. You will receive training, delivered both in our office and through our online training portal.
