An exciting opportunity for candidates to join Jesters 'Brilliant Babies' teams at Beaulieu and Bicknacre, nurturing our very youngest babies to gently unfold at their own pace, emerging and naturally flourishing within a warm and caring environment. To lay down the foundations for baby development, providing a safe space that creates the first sparks of magic and wonder.
Our Jesters baby team members embark on an expert developmental in-house training journey created by our professional external partner Clare Stead. The 'Brilliant Babies' programme will elevate your knowledge and practice to exceptional standards and bring fulfilment to your role.
We need experienced, motivated, highly organised, caring individuals to fill our Jesters Room Leader positions at our home from home nursery in Bicknacre and our Beaulieu Nursery & Pre-school in the heart of Beaulieu, Chelmsford. Room Leader position overview
The role of the Room Leader is to manage their respective setting room on a daily basis to an exemplary standard. Maintaining a high quality safe and stimulating learning environment, stimulating children and staff alike, whilst delivering our overarching service Vision, Values, Ethos and the appropriate room Aspirations.
Supervising staff and overseeing their continual professional development and role modelling best practice skills is crucial to building a high performing room team who deliver in line with the Statutory and Inspectorate framework. The Room Leader is a creative and reflective individual, who takes pride in implementing new ideas and uses a range of strategies to continually improve and elevate teaching practice.
Supporting the setting management team to contribute with running the whole nursery will ensure the welfare and education outcomes for all children in Jesters care is at the heart of our offer to our families.
What do you have to achieve?
- Assist and support the leadership/management team to deliver exemplary standards of welfare, safety and education.
- Compliance with regulatory requirements as laid out in the Inspection Handbook.
- Staff who feel supported in their roles and who perform at the highest levels of competence within their professional practice.
Please note that unfortunately, this role does not meet the government's requirements for a Skilled Worker visa, so we are unable to offer sponsorship.
